The EBenefits site is customized to the look and feel your company desires, with site colors determined
by you and your company logo incorporated into the site. The EBenefits logo or colors will not be present
on the system, unless you want them to be.
Access 24/7
Employees have access at work or at home. Upon initial
entry into the site, the employee is verified with 3 distinct customizable criteria, which are determined
by your company's requirements. After the employee is verified they will establish a username and password
for future access.
Homepage — The employees will be greeted upon login by a homepage message defined by you. With EBenefits CHTML tool it is a simple process for Human Resources to update and modify the Welcome Message at anytime.
The site is developed to be user friendly for employees unfamiliar with a computer. An employee can navigate through the system simply by clicking the "continue" button on the bottom of every screen or by utilizing the left-hand navigation. Either way an employee can follow the sequence of the site without difficulty.
Benefits — Human Resources has another opportunity to communicate custom messages regarding benefits on the first page of the Benefits section. Once again it is easy to update or customize the message. Following the Welcome page, employees will see a current year Benefit Summary followed by prompts to verify dependents and populate beneficiary information. All benefits can be setup three ways — Mandatory, Optional, or Read Only — giving you the ability to guide and control the employee navigation experience.
Medical Plan Decision Modeling Tool — Help employees make the right choice for their medical plan provider by gathering inputs of typical usage and calculating estimated costs per plan.
Message Center — The message center provides Human Resources with another form of direct communication to the employees. Custom messages can be sent out at will to the entire population, specific employee class or custom "groups" developed by HR.
Document Center — This feature enables you to remove the wall of file cabinets in the HR. All SPDs, claim documents, employee handbooks and Code of Conduct booklets can be downloaded and viewed by employees. This is another powerful communication and education tool for HR, placing all benefit information in the hands of the employees.
Account Summary — The account summary area can be accessed throughout the year. Any pending benefit elections are displayed and updated on this page. A current benefit summary as well as previous year's benefits summaries can be viewed, printed, and downloaded. Total compensation statements are also incorporated and updated within the system.
User Profile — A current challenge for HR is maintaining employee demographic records such as address, dependents and beneficiaries. With the EBenefits system, an employee can log into the system and make appropriate changes which are captured and maintained on the EBenefits system. The rules and logic for changes to employee data are built upon your organization's specific business rules and designs.
Change in Family Status — Changes in family status or life events, as they are sometimes known, are easily managed within the system. D<br Your employees can initiate benefits election changes due to status changes. The event must be entered within a timeframe defined by HR or the system will not allow it. After the event is initialized and benefit changes are made, the employee is prompted to deliver supporting documentation to HR within the 30 day window. The benefit changes are not accepted by the EBenefits system until HR receives documentation and approves the changes through the system. Once the change is finalized, it is sent to the vendor partners through the data feed process.
Help — EBenefits can provide a pre-populated list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) regarding site assistance or you can create a custom list. FAQ's for benefits can also be loaded in, minimizing questions and calls coming into HR.
Contact Us — Client services contact information for EBenefits and other vendors will be available through the EBenefits website, providing employees with additional resources and creating a self service environment for employees.
